SCALA (Stair-Climbing Assistive Lifting Apparatus) is a stair-climbing robotic cart that lets you carry heavy, bulky, unwieldy items or packages up and down stairs completely automatically — no lifting or balancing required.

On level ground, it can be pushed just like a highly maneuverable platform cart. On stairs, it uses our patented robotic stair-climbing technology, allowing it to carry items up and down a staircase with little or no effort required by the operator. The payload always remains level. You can pause or stop the climb at any time.
